The Executive Director is the administrative head of the SDO pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 7, Section 59 and is responsible for enforcing SDO’s statutes, Executive Orders and regulations and establishing, implementing and achieving agency strategic goals and priorities consistent with those of the administration.

The Resident Music Faculty designs and teaches music and singing workshops for CATA artists with developmental and intellectual disabilities, autism, and brain injuries in CATA studios, special education classrooms, day programs, and program partners throughout Berkshire and Columbia counties. Workshops will give people with disabilities across a spectrum of ability and age the opportunity to explore singing, song form, rhythm-making, composing lyrics and melodies, improvisation, and collaborative, communal music-making

Community Access to the Arts (CATA)

The Resident Theater Arts Faculty designs and teaches theater workshops for CATA artists with developmental and intellectual disabilities, autism, and brain injuries in CATA studios, special education classrooms, day programs, and program partners throughout Berkshire and Columbia counties. Workshops give people with disabilities the opportunity to explore acting, creative storytelling, theater games and exercises, physical theater, devising, improv, and more.

Community Access to the Arts (CATA)

The Visual Arts Faculty designs and teaches visual arts workshops for CATA artists with developmental and intellectual disabilities, autism, and brain injuries in CATA studios, special education classrooms, day programs, and program partners throughout Berkshire and Columbia counties. Workshops give people with disabilities across a spectrum of ability and age the opportunity to explore painting, drawing, printmaking, collage, sculpture/tactile arts, fiber, photography, and more, tailored to specific needs and interests

Community Access to the Arts (CATA)

This Assistant Coordinator position will focus on volunteer outreach, onboarding, and response coordination to improve the region’s ability to prepare for, respond to and recover from emergencies as well as help improve community health and health equity, to assist in a broad range of public health initiatives, and to contribute to dynamic and complex public health projects to improve health outcomes in Berkshire and Franklin Counties, Massachusetts.

Berkshire Regional Planning Commission (BRPC)

The Accountant I work focus will be in the Accounts Payable area. The Accountant I will ensure that BCC's bills are paid in a timely fashion. The Accounts Payable process also involves reviewing of billing details to ensure that only legitimate and accurate amounts have been processed through the Procurement & Purchase Order system and then entered into the Accounting system. We are looking for a skilled, detail oriented fiscal professional to join our team.

Berkshire Community College (BCC)

The full-time PTA faculty provides classroom and laboratory instruction, supervision and evaluation to students seeking an associate degree in the physical therapist assistant program. The faculty along with the Program Coordinator participates in the formal and comprehensive assessment of all components of the program and supervises the development of instructional materials, assists in conducting research on the effectiveness of the instructional program consistent with the philosophy and objectives of the college.
