Roots Rising Youth Crew is NOW OPEN TO ALL Berkshire County high school students

Roots Rising is looking for high school students to join our Summer Farm Crew - a five week, full-time paid program that connects teens to meaningful work on farms, and community food programs.

Crew members spend their days doing real, hands-on work that serves our Berkshire community. Growing food, strengthening our local food system, and building connections with the land and each other. Along the way, participants take part in educational workshops, culinary lessons, financial literacy classes, and community conversations.

Program Details:
   •    Dates: July 6th – August 7th, 2026
   •    Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 4:30pm
   •    Pay: Stipend of up to $2,000 for five weeks
   •    Daily meals provided
   •    Transportation included

Who can apply: Any high school student currently enrolled in Berkshire County is eligible. No prior experience needed. Just show up ready to work and learn!
