Explore the work and influence of two pioneering Caribbean painters, Isaiah Boodhoo and Wendy Nanan, in a conversation led by scholars Patricia Mohammed and Marsha Pearce.
The program will explore the artists’ connections to Trinidad and their experiences as descendants of Indian indentured workers, offering an opportunity to learn more about Caribbean art, history, and identity. A reception will take place at 5 pm before the program.
